Excellent Colne Valley Area Committee last night.

Young People there, from across the valley, sharing some of the things they had been able to do with the support of the area committee. Presentations by the young people on: the Ethical Fashion Show in Marsden; the Youth Exchange Group; a residential visit with young people from Golcar and Longwood; the Young People Slaithwaite Station Project( a new bench is being put in, designed by young people and fabricated by a Slaithwaite firm) and the sports work at the UCHM in Milnsbridge.

 Keith Sykes filled us in on the lastest Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme work and Liz Voros gave us the latest on the Colne Valley Youth Hub ‘The Basement’

 Great presentation by our representatives on the Kirklees Youth Council.
